Jesse Burt McFall, Jr., 66 of Thaxton, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, November 30, 1948 in Bedford County, a son of the late Jesse Burt McFall, Sr. and Ora Lorain Defibaugh McFall. He is survived by his wife, Mavis Webber McFall; his son, Todd McFall of Roanoke; his daughters, Angela Freeman of Troutville, Kimberly Broughman of Moneta, Michael Drewry of Roanoke; two brothers, Don McFall of Orlando, FL, Wayne McFall of Vinton his sister, Rita McFall of Bedford as well as his grandchildren, Christopher Walker McFall, Danielle Trout, Chelsea Allan Cameron Broughman. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 5 at 1 PM at Hollins Road Baptist Church. There will also be a memorial service on Sunday, September 27 at 3 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
