I am so sorry to hear this news..He was such a great man in many ways. It was great that he was able to make it to the Roadrunner Reunion one last time. I appreciate his Service to his country---he was an inspiration to us all and a true Hero and Patroit!

What a man!!! I feel honored to have been a friend for a few years. Carl was always kind and thoughtful.
When you note his many accomplishments one of which is finding and marrying "Liz". She certainly stood by him through it all and it was ""all". As a Air Force fighter pilot - Korea with Gen Loving flying F-86's and time with the CIA flying the U2 - First U2 pilot to overfly Russia. Then Bedford Helicopters flying not only helicopters but fixed wing aircraft -- Maule, etc. You name it, he did it. In later years his body became a bit feeble but his mind remained sharp.
What a privilege to have known him!
He has "gone West" to his reward.
