Carl Keith Overstreet, 86 of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the VA Medical Center. He was born on Thursday, June 30, 1929 in Bedford County, a son of the late Russell Perry Overstreet and Erma Laticia Kasey Overstreet.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Schaar Overstreet; his sons, Carl Andrew Overstreet & wife, Ann of Albuquerque, NM, Keith Alexander Overstreet & wife, Laura Fitzpatrick Overstreet of Arlington; his grandsons, John David & Robert Carl Overstreet; his step-grandchildren, Erin & Rachel Wester as well as his sister, Judy Ann Chesson & husband, John Henry of Cincinnati, OH.
The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 1 PM and until the time of the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Jeffrey Clemens officiating.
A covered dish reception following the service will be held at Peaks Coaching Group, 414 Jackson Street Bedford, VA. Parking is available in the lot across the street.
