Sali was a wonderful woman with a lot of passion and enthusiasm for everything and everyone she loved. I was fortunate to know her throughout her time volunteering at the National D-Day Memorial. Her smile and determination to get things done were always apparent and she was instrumental on many occasions in helping the Memorial through some difficult times. I was so sad to hear of her passing. Unfortunately, prior commitments had me out of town for her service, but I can only imagine that it was as beautiful as she was and that there were many stories shared. Please know that we are thinking of each of you during this difficult time and praying for comfort in the days ahead. All of us who knew Sali will miss her a great deal but I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to know her.
